NissanConnect™ with NavigationSM is available on the NV200 equipped with the Technology Package. This Vehicle Connected Services (VCS) is the off-board contents and infrastructure that deliver vehicle-centric services to NV’s customers via cellular network and smartphone integration. These services may include:
- Entertainment (RSS Feeds, Internet Radio)
- Navigation Assist (Send-To-Car, POI Search)
- Location Data (Dealerships, Gas stations.)
- Communication (Text Messaging, Facebook, Twitter)
NOTE: Some of these applications will require a service subscription to use the application.
NAVTRAFFIC
NavTraffic™ can be used to show the closest traffic incident to their vehicle, regardless of routing status. View the ‘On Route’ list to see a list of traffic event information specific to the route. Or the ‘All’ list for traffic event information regardless of routing status. Using the ‘Avoid Road’ option will help them to select a road or segment of the route to avoid.
NAVWEATHER
The NavWeather™ feature will allow customers to get the current weather conditions for their current vehicle location including temperature, humidity, wind speed and precipitation. They can also see the 5-day forecast and look-up weather for other locations.
GOOGLE™ SEND-TO-CAR
Using Google™ Send-To-Car to enter their destination before they leave home using a PC or connected device. Then they can send any address to the navigation system in their car through www.maps. google.com. When they start the car and connect to the network, the address will be delivered and loaded into their Nissan navigation system for routing.
POIs POWERED BY GOOGLE™
A connected Google™ local business search is based on the latest information from Google and is always up-to-date. Drivers can search for a destination without knowing the specific name or category. This feature also gives the driver the option to call the POI.
