The 2013 NV200 Compact Cargo may have been designed as a Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) but that does not keep it from having passenger car-like equipment, comfort and convenience. The driver-focused cockpit includes a driver’s 6-way adjustable seat with manual lumbar and armrest. Its been designed for durability and utilizes outboard vinyl wear patches. The NV200 offers “Mobile Office” inspired functionality with a center console that features laptop/hanging file folder storage, pen/pencil tray, CD holder, and dual cup holders. There are also recessed storage areas that are provided on the upper instrument panel for folders and documents. This vehicle has ample storage space and the door pockets are large enough to hold two A4-sized map books. In addition, the passenger seat folds down to serve as a worktop or extend the cargo space for extra storage for hauling longer items.

Vehicles can be equipped with the Bluetooth® Hand-Free Phone system. This wireless communication feature comes with illuminated steering wheel controls that make it easy connect to a compatible cellular phone and the in-vehicle phone module.

Comfort_Bluetooth_Chart.jpg

The steering switch signal is sent to the Bluetooth® control unit that outputs to the Audio unit.

The following audio functions can be performed using the steering wheel audio control switches:

Up to five different Bluetooth® compatible cellular phones can be registered (only one can be used to talk through the module at a time). When a cellular phone or the Bluetooth® control unit is replaced, the cellular phone must be paired with the Bluetooth® control unit. Different Bluetooth® cellular phones may have different pairing procedures.

The Bluetooth® control unit has two diagnostic checks. The first diagnostic check is performed automatically with every ignition cycle during control unit initialization. The second diagnostic check can be performed by using the steering wheel audio control switches prior to trouble diagnosis.

NOTE: Before performing diagnosis, confirm that the cellular phone being used by the customer is compatible with the vehicle.

The Nissan Voice recognition system supports phone commands.

NOTE: Some Bluetooth® enabled cellular phones may not be recognized by the in-vehicle phone module.

The SE grade NV200 provides a rear view camera which displays a clear picture of what is behind the driver in a dashboard-mounted screen. When the shift selector is shifted into the R position, the rear view monitor shows the rearward view from the vehicle and provides range-displaying graphics on the screen. This acts as a further indication to the driver of their vehicle’s distance from an object.

NOTE: When strong light directly enters the camera, or when temperatures are extremely high or low, the screen may not clearly display objects. This is not a malfunction.

The Loose Fuel Cap warning message displays in the odometer when the fuelfiller cap is not tightened correctly after the vehicle has been refueled. It should be noted that it may take a few driving trips for the message to be displayed.

The NV200 has been equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that illuminates a low tire pressure warning light when one or more of the vehicle’s tires is significantly under-inflated. The CHECK TIRE PRES (pressure) warning message is displayed in the odometer when the low tire pressure warning light is illuminated and low tire pressure is detected. The low tire pressure warning light does not automatically turn off when the tire pressure is adjusted. After all 4 tires are inflated to the recommended pressure, the vehicle must be driven at speeds above 16 MPH (25 km/h) to activate the TPMS and turn off the low tire pressure warning light.

Securing cargo is easily accomplished by utilizing the d-rings (if so equipped) with ropes or straps in the rear cargo space.

WARNING.jpg

Properly secure all cargo with ropes or straps to help prevent it from sliding or shifting. Do not place cargo higher than the seat backs. In a sudden stop or collision, unsecured cargo could cause personal injury.
