QX30 Power Window Convenience Open/Close
For your convenience, you may open or close the windows with the Intelligent Key. You can also close your windows with the request switch on the door handle.
Opening the windows with the Intelligent Key
To open the windows with the Intelligent Key:
- Have the Intelligent Key within the key operating range of the vehicle.
- Press the unlock button on the Intelligent Key and hold it down.
- The vehicle will unlock, and then the windows roll down.
- Release the unlock button to stop the window convenience open/close.
The opening stops when:
- The hall sensor in each power window motor detects bottom dead center.
- The ignition switch is moved to the ON position.
- The unlock button is released.
The keyless power window open feature does not activate if the retained accessory power is still powered up.
CLOSING THE WINDOWS WITH THE INTELLIGENT KEY
When the convenience closing feature is operating, parts of the body could become trapped in the closing area of the side window. If the control unit detects something caught in a window equipped with automatic operation as it is closing, the window will be immediately lowered. There are some small distances immediately before the closed position which cannot be detected. Make sure that all passengers have their hands, etc., inside the vehicle before closing the window.
To close the windows with the Intelligent Key:
- The Intelligent Key must be outside the vehicle.
- The Intelligent Key must be within the specified operating range of the door handle.
- Press and hold the lock button until the windows are fully closed.
The closing stops when:
- The hall sensor in each power window motor detects top dead center.
- The ignition switch is moved to the ON position.
- The lock button is released.
The keyless power window up function does not activate if:
- The anti-pinch system is malfunctioning.
- Retained accessory power is still powered up.
CLOSING THE WINDOWS WITH THE REQUEST SWITCH ON THE DOOR HANDLE
To close the windows with the door handle sensor:
- The front doors must be closed.
- Touch the request switch on the door handle until the side windows are fully closed.
NOTE: Make sure you only touch the request switch surface.
To interrupt window convenience closing, release the request switch on the door handle.
- The front Intelligent Key door handle sensor is integrated in the front door outside handle grip.
- The handle sensor transmits the Intelligent Key door handle encoder signal to the Intelligent Key unit.
