The 2015 Murano^® uses a new style slide double-locking type harness connector on certain systems and components. These new style connectors are adopted to help prevent incomplete locking and accidental looseness or disconnection, especially on those related to the OBD or the air bag control systems.

The slide double-locking type connectors are disconnected by pushing the lock tab and pulling or sliding the connector apart to disconnect it. Then, push the locking tab once again to slide the connector and release it from its mating component.
