Platinum level models are equipped standard with NissanConnectSM Services Powered by SiriusXM which features the new vehicle telematics system that uses the navigation system and built-in cellular technology. This new suite of vehicle-oriented services features a wide range of vehicle security, monitoring and remote services. NissanConnect Services information and functions are available via the navigation system display, the Internet, or a compatible Web-enabled phone. However, the service does not require smartphone connectivity. New for this system is that it will work without a cell phone connection – it is a standalone system that functions on its own. If a customer wants to access the services from their compatible smartphone, they can download the NissanConnect Services companion app.

Monitoring Features
Note: Access from the APP or the Owner Portal
Boundary Alert: Set geographic boundary alerts, and get a notification via preferred communication link (e.g., SMS (text) message or email) if the boundaries are violated.
Curfew Alert: Specify curfew limits (driver, day, time, etc.) via NissanConnect Services app or website, and get a message if curfew is violated. Options even allow for 20-minute pre-warnings and/or notification to the user in the vehicle.
Speed Alert: Set a speed alert threshold via NissanConnect Services app or website, and get a message if it is exceeded. Options even allow for notification to the user in the vehicle.
Valet Alert: Quickly create an alert that’s triggered if the vehicle is driven more than .2 miles; you’ll be notified via email and/or SMS (text) message.
Remote Services
Remote Door Lock / Unlock: Start the engine remotely using NissanConnect Services app or website.
Remote Engine Start: Lock or unlock your doors remotely using NissanConnect Services Mobile App or Website.
Remote Lights: Flash the lights remotely using NissanConnect Services app or website.
Remote Sound Horn and Flash Lights: Sound the horn and flash the lights remotely using NissanConnect Services app or website.
Maintenance Alerts
In-Vehicle Messaging*: Your vehicle communicates directly with you about maintenance reminders, warranty alerts, upcoming appointments, and more.
Maintenance Alert/Reminder: Stay updated on required maintenance with a timely reminder via SMS (text message) and/or email.
Vehicle Health Report: Get informed with messages about potential issues/problems with messages about diagnostics and the general health of the vehicle.
Dealer Service Scheduling*: Link into the Dealer Service Scheduling tool from the Maintenance Alert or NissanConnect Services Web Portal.

Demo Mode
Demo mode will be active (once the TCU is activated/turned on) for up to 18 months on the sales lot. Registration is not required to utilize Demo mode, but TCU must be turned ON. The TCU should be turned ON at PDI.
Dealers will be able to demonstrate Connected Search and Assisted Search to consumers.
Demo mode will also enable Automatic Collision Notification, Emergency Calling, Roadside Assistance and In-Vehicle Messaging.
These can be used if necessary, but should not be used for demonstration.
In the event that the dealer does not enroll the customer in NissanConnect Services at the time of delivery, the vehicle will stay in demo mode for 60 days after the sale date.

Trial Period – Included with New Vehicle Purchase or Lease
The trial period will include 6 months of NissanConnect Services Premium Plus service, which begins on the date of new vehicle purchase or lease. Dealers will enroll customers in a service trial during delivery, using the Dealer Portal (on NNAnet). After the 6 month trial period, customers can renew their subscription through SiriusXM. Customers will be contacted during their trial period with special offers to renew their subscription. They can choose to purchase one of three packages: Basic, Premium, or Premium Plus.
Note: NissanConnect ServicesSM and features are dependent upon subscription enrollment and the telematics device being in operative condition, cellular connectivity, navigation map data and GPS satellite signal reception.
