Nissan Tech Alert Program
As Nissan and Infiniti Service Technician’s you know getting timely technical information is critical to your primary business and your ability to fix cars-right-the-first-time. Often times though, the sheer volume of the information to access and the time it takes to find what you need to read makes the task challenging. We’ve been listening to you and we’re here to help. TECHLINE has created the Tech Alert Program to help keep you in the know, both informed and up to date! This new system is intended to provide you our service personnel with the information you want, as soon as it’s available, and tailored to the way you want it.
What Info Do You Want?
Service personnel can go to techalert.nissan-usa.com and select the types of information desired. Choices include TSB announcements, TSB Amendments, ESM updates, TECHTALK magazine subjects, TECHLINE news, and Technician Training updates via text, or emails. This will ensure when you sign up you’ll be sent only the information that you need and want to receive.
Once enrolled, periodic updates (typically 3 to 5 each week), will be sent to each subscriber, (depending on the type of information you’ve selected to be alerted about). The information is typically a short “headline”, allowing you to quickly review a topic, and to be alerted to the availability of more detailed information available on ASIST, in Virtual Academy, or at other source locations. The goal is to raise your awareness quickly, before it is needed without sifting through all the many communication details.
The system is flexible and future enhancements may include expanded Parts Department personnel information and other departments as demand dictates.
