The 2013 JX35
The all-new three-row, seven-passenger vehicle designated the Infiniti JX advances Infiniti's design language by sharing some cues from the Infiniti Essence concept. This new model packages both available and new design elements, features and functions, into ways suitable to meet the needs of a family luxury crossover. Exterior features starting with its dramatic front grille and headlight design to its crescent-cut D-pillar, help the JX shine as a fresh, bold alternative to the standard–looking three-row luxury crossover vehicles.
Beyond its stunning exterior, the new Infiniti JX is designed to excel by emphasizing interior flexibility and roominess, safety and innovative hospitality.
The JX's interior offers class-leading roominess, along with a second-row seat that tilts and slides forward providing for easy third-row access. The JX introduces seat adjust versatility that will allow an owner to leave a child seat latched to the second-row passenger side while getting in or out of the third-row. The third-row space was designed with adult-sized room for all passengers with five-and-a-half inches of fore and aft adjustability from the second-row seats.
Along with its extensive list of standard currently available features, the JX continues Infiniti's tradition of developing world first technologies, by featuring advanced telematics and safety technologies. Added to the available Blind Spot Intervention is a new collision avoidance system -- in reverse, entitled Back-up Collision Intervention (BCI). With this technology, when the transmission is in reverse, the JX will help the driver detect moving objects crossing behind the vehicle, and if necessary, the system will automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a collision.
The Infiniti JX offers many technologies designed to make each owner's driving experience more comfortable, easier and efficient, like an available 15-speaker Bose® Studio Surround® sound system with Waveguide bass technology. Another available technology is the advanced Infiniti Connection™ Telematics system that can connect the vehicle to the Infiniti Connection Data Center. Customers can use this to sync to their personal online Google Calendar, and receive navigation guidance to their appointments. The JX will also feature the Infiniti Personal Assistant. This is Infiniti's new "personal concierge" service with 24-hour access to a "live" team of professional assistants. To access the Infiniti Personal Assistant (offered free of charge for four years with every new vehicle purchase), select "Connect to Voice Menu."
The new JX will provide owner's and passenger's a comfortable and clean environment. It offers balance with its Tri-Zone Auto Temp Controls for adjusting all zones of the vehicle's interior. The high-density Plasmacluster Ion Generator, an Outside Odor/Exhaust Gas Sensor system, along with the Grape Seed Polyphenol Filter control, cleans the air in the vehicle and helps remove allergens, germs, and odors from the interior.
In keeping with Infiniti's "Inspired Performance," the Infiniti JX was designed for a balance of driving exhilaration and fuel efficiency achieved from a combination of a powerful V6 engine technology and its all-wheel or front-wheel drive. The new JX is the "first" Infiniti vehicle to utilize a sport-tuned, fuel-efficient Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
